Description
The Young 3040P rectangular opposed blade damper provides efficient air flow control in conventional air handling systems where minimal air leakage past the closed damper is critical. It is designed for medium velocity and differential pressure applications up to 4″W.C. All roll-formed standardized parts conform to specifications for high quality, low leakage, maximum rigidity, and low operating torque.
Note: All dampers less than 12″ in height will be single rather then opposed blade construction.
The model 3040P has a 5″ wide plate allowing for slip in installation in the side of the duct. It is also convenient for a field-installed actuator.
The 3040P is different than our standard Opposed Blade Dampers. It is designed for high static/high velocity environments.
