Constant Volume Regulators

CVR

Constant Volume Regulators (CVR) are self-contained airflow limiting devices. This precise molded part has a carefully engineered free area; designed to pass a maximum amount of air. As pressure increases the increased flow causes the Aero-Gate to rise up and block more free-area, reducing total flow. The regulators are adjustable, select the diameter you need and adjust the carriage up and down to set the flow profile required. See Performance Data Sheet

Constant Volume Regulators save energy and money by allowing only the required amount of air into or out of the space. They may contribute toward attaining USGBC LEED certifications. They can be used to equalize exhaust into a central chase over the total height of the building; ensuring a good IAQ and precluding over-ventilation at the same time. See Case Study Central Ventilation for a good example of the savings potential.
